Description
“Cerību Tilts”, a day center at Ieriķu iela 2B in Rīga, is the branch of the society “Rīgas pilsētas ‘Rūpju bērns’” for people with intellectual disabilities. On weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00 there are handicraft and embroidery, weaving, art, music, multimedia (photo and video) and health-promoting sports activities; visitors keep up the skills they learned at school and go on outings. Activities are led by club instructors; the center has 24 places, and lunch is free. Places and visits are arranged in advance with the society; the service is provided under the rules of Rīga municipality.
