EnglishBrass Wind Instrument Education Program
Description
The Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis Art School in Rietavas offers educational programs for brass wind instruments that supplement formal education at the elementary and intermediate levels. Students are introduced to the basics of music notation, solfège, and music history; they learn to play their chosen instrument and have the opportunity to perform in the school’s wind orchestra. The school continues the tradition of professional music education established by Prince Bogdan Oginski in Rietavas in 1872.
