Zilākalna Kultūrvēstures un apmeklētāju centrs „ZTornis”

A visitor centre in a 1960 water tower and its modern annex, with the exhibition “Zilākalna stāsts” on the peat industry, the village and the legend-rich Zilaiskalns hill. Guides share local stories and take visitors up to the top floor of the tower for a view of the village and the bogs, and virtual-reality headsets let you “fly” over the hill and look inside a narrow-gauge steam locomotive. The centre also provides tourist information, and in autumn it resumes indoor masterclasses and creative workshops.
