This branch of the Latvian War Museum at “Mangaļi” tells the story of the 1916–1917 Christmas Battles: authentic First World War field fortifications are reconstructed outdoors, with an exhibition on the Latvian riflemen inside. A 7.2 km educational trail through the battle sites starts here. Entry is free; a guided tour costs €10 per group in Latvian.
