Slimnīcas „Ģintermuiža” vēstures muzejs

The history museum of the “Ģintermuiža” psychiatric hospital, founded in 1977 by psychiatrist Arnolds Laksbergs, tells the story of mental health care since 1887: old medical equipment, farm tools, photographs, occupational therapy work and paintings from the former patients’ studio “Iztēle”. Visits are free, guided by a staff member and by appointment only.
