A local history centre created in honour of Skaistkalne historian Pēteris Lukašēvics, holding the records he collected – chronicles, books, manor and church archive material, household objects and photographs. A display explains the Skaistkalne karst sinkholes and gypsum rock, and exhibitions are held regularly. Guided tours of Skaistkalne and the sinkholes can be booked here; entry is free.
