A sedums is a spot on the shore where fishermen hauled up their boats, built net huts and stored nets, anchors and buoys in them, while their families picked the catch out of the nets. At Ragaciems, descendants of local fishermen have rebuilt several net huts the traditional way, turning the place into a monument to fishing history; in 2015 it received the “Latviskais mantojums” (Latvian Heritage) sign. The sedums stands on Ragaciems beach and can be visited free of charge.
