The hydrotherapy complex of the National Rehabilitation Centre Vaivari has a 25 m pool filled with mineral water (29–31 °C), which the centre calls the only one of its kind in Latvia. Visitors who are not patients can swim on their own on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons; a visit is up to 60 minutes in the water (up to 1.5 hours including changing), with no more than 25 people in the pool at a time. Children under 14 only with an adult (one adult per child); a swimming cap is required.
