Built in the 18th century as a residence of Duke Peter Biron of Courland, the palace was known for its lavish interiors, picture gallery and orangery; here the Duke proposed to Dorothea. Visits by appointment, for a donation. In September–November 2026 school groups can book a glass-working workshop with a tour (€15 per person, minimum 10).
