Description
The Jelgava Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Ensemble, which has been active since 1984, includes about 250 children in eight age groups—ranging from three years old to adulthood. Both children who have danced before and those who have never danced are welcome; they learn dance steps, posture, musicality, and partner dancing. The group performs in Jelgava, participates in song and dance festivals, and takes part in international festivals.
