Description
“Diždancis” has been a top-level (group A) folk dance ensemble since 1975 and is one of the strongest in Jelgava and Latvia. About 40 young people aged 18 to 35 dance in it, and new dancers aged at least 18 are welcome. Rehearsals take place at the “Cukurfabrika” dance centre (Dance House); in the 2026 season there is also a middle-generation “Diždancis” group.
