Pėsčiųjų takas „Per šventas aglas“

A 10.9 km easy circular route around Marcinkonys – one of the largest villages in Lithuania – and its surroundings; the walk takes about three hours. Highlights include the Church of the Apostles Simon and Jude Thaddeus (rebuilt in 1880), a double-armed cross from 1933, the Klonių kalnas dune, the “Meškos šikna” raised bog, Lake Aklaežeris and the legendary “Holy Firs” (Šventos aglės). The route is not waymarked on the ground, so it is easiest to follow the park’s GPX track.
