Opened in 2012, Lithuania’s only Museum of Baltic Gods’ Sculptures is a 1.4 km trail lined with oak figures of deities made by folk artists from northern Lithuania. Drawing on Baltic mythology, archaeology and folklore, it tells of the old Baltic faith and its values; along the way are the Sun and Fire squares and Alka Hill, and the Baltic Herb Museum and the Nest-box Museum are nearby. Admission is free, and a guided tour can be booked free of charge.
