EnglishThe "Saduja" Kanklės Ensemble
Description
The “Saduja” kanklės ensemble was formed in May 2026, following the proclamation of the Year of the Kanklės, and now consists of about 15 kanklės enthusiasts. The ensemble performs traditional kanklės music—folk melodies, sutartinės, and other pieces reminiscent of old-style music. The group performs at events organized by the Biržai Cultural Center and local communities, and also travels to other cities in Lithuania. The director is Jūratė Garnelienė; anyone interested in joining is invited to contact her.
