Description
A family member or other carer looking after a relative with a disability can take a break while that person stays at the Macikai Social Care Home, with accommodation, meals, help with daily care and health care services; they can also join the home’s occupational activities (sewing, knitting, ceramics, floristry, woodwork) and events. The service is for people with an assessed need for the individual care allowance, for up to 720 hours a year per person. The home is for adults with disabilities.

Price: 1 340–1 465 € / month (€1,340 per month for a person with a disability, €1,465 for a person with a severe disability (2026). If a contract is signed directly with a care home, the family pays the full cost; if the service is provided by the municipality, please check with the municipality regarding funding.)
