Description
“Mickunianka” is a group dedicated to preserving the culture and traditions of the Vilnius region, founded in Mickūnai and operating at the Mickūnai branch of the Rudamina Cultural Center. The group sings folk, patriotic, and religious songs, as well as original compositions, in Polish, Lithuanian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian (programs are usually in Polish), collects old songs, cares for roadside crosses, and passes on traditions to younger generations. The group is led by Halina Tomaševič.
