Description
The local history club, founded in the spring of 2026 at the Biržai Public Library, invites everyone interested in the history of the Biržai region—teachers, students, seniors, collectors, and curious residents of Biržai. Club members meet for discussions and presentations about local sites, manors, notable figures, and traditions; they share family stories and photographs, collect words from the Biržai dialect, and explore the region together—for example, on hiking trips. Beginners are also welcome to participate; meetings are held in the library’s reading room.
