Description
Outdoor education about the tiny creatures living on the bottoms of rivers and lakes—insect larvae, mollusks, worms, and other organisms—which can be used to determine whether the water is clean. Participants collect samples from a lake or river themselves, examine the creatures under a microscope and with magnifying glasses, and try to identify them. The program is tailored for children of various ages, takes place from May through September, and lasts 1.5 hours. The cost is €4 per participant for groups of 10–25 people.
