Educational program on the plants along the shores of Lake Širvėna: participants get a close-up look at reeds, bulrushes, sedges, and the calamus that has made its way from the east; they learn where these plants grow and how they provide shelter for birds and other animals, while children learn to weave baskets or mats from bulrushes. Depending on the weather, the activity takes place in the park’s nature classroom or in the Širvėna Landscape Reserve, year-round.
